Hi, I just popped by while surfing randomly, and I can't help but disagreeing with that above line. Maybe it's just the cynical me because I've been lied to along those lines, but the next time a GIRL says "I miss you", I'd think twice..

What a bitch to be lied to.
The girl who betrayed your trust is not the same girl who you're with, or will be with. Give her that credit to prove herself. If she turns out to be another insecure bitch, dump her. But while she has done nothing wrong, don't ever tell her you doubt it when she tells you she misses you. Because your cynic self might just manifest on it's own.
But if you're too scared & insecure to believe, please don't seek security in another girlfriend just to proof yourself right or wrong. What a jerk you'll be.
You give yourself the security you need. Not by testing your partner, which most of us, being human, are guilty of.
Easier said than done huh. But that's just another excuse.
Well, we were already not together when I found out about the lie (along with others), which happens to be during the time we were supposed to sort things out. And you know, it's not just the lies, but much more. I'm giving myself the security I need, that is to be just myself, not by testing anyone else. Cheers~
